I had my ring sized up a few years ago, and have totally regretted it ever since. The baby weight from Allison is coming off, and I've noticed my ring getting looser and looser on me. Do I do anything about it...of course not. So, I was putting the stroller in the back of the Acura yesterday and look down to see a very naked finger on my left hand. I think I finally understand the feeling when your heart drops down into your toes. I yelled for Michael, and we spent the next two hours looking in every possible corner in the house (whoever decided it was a good idea to spend large amounts of money on such a small item clearly never met me!). I kept thinking "Heavenly Father answers little kids' prayers when they're looking for their CTR rings, surely that works for grown ups too." I had resorted to digging through trash cans just in case it slipped off there, and when we didn't find it in the obvious places we ended up pulling mattresses off beds, more or less cleaning out the entire car, and going through all of Kaitlin's toys. That whole "where have you been today?" is really tricky for a mom of little kids who never sits down!
Michael was really patient and just kept saying, "when did you see it last?" We did finally find it. Michael was giving me a hand massage earlier and the ring apparently had rolled off the bed, across the floor, and under the dresser.
I was so relieved. Does anyone else have a story of losing their ring? Please say yes, I'm feeling so horrible about hearly losing mine:)

Oh my - glad you found it!!!
I already told you mine. I'm so glad you found it too.
Brent took off his wedding ring at the theater to wash his hands and never saw it again.
I vacuumed up John's wedding ring about a year after we were married. I felt horrible! We were able to get it out of the vaccuum, but it was so bent and mangled that it was pretty much unrepairable. He now has a new ring, but it is a little loose on him and I fear he may loose it again someday!
