After nearly a year of interviews, tests, physical training (the list goes on and on) Michael was invited to Seattle for the final phase of interviewing with the FBI. Given the coolness of the city, and the chance to get away kidless for a long weekend, we decided to make it an "us" trip and a very much needed getaway. It was wonderful. Even though the weather was rainy and incredibly windy for most of the weekend, we had a really fun time. Couple of highlights.
My lasting impression of Seattle is this: extremely hilly (rivals San Francisco for that any day), very friendly and smiley people, even downtown, out of this world food (the seafood, Russian/Polish food, sourdough bread, and Thai food are still fresh in my mind:).

Please tell me you sanitized your hands after touching the gum wall!! :) Or maybe, being kidless, you'd left all hand sanitizers and wet wipes in the diaper bag back at home!
I'd love to visit Seattle someday--especially after hearing about the delicious food and smiling people. Glad you had a nice time, and good luck on the FBI hiring process too. Wow.
